Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, more commonly known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist and rapper. The stage name is the name of a favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording contracts with Epic and T.I. The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length project the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the debut album of his studio. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016), was made in collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott was the first artist to make it to first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
