Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott (born June 16, 1987) is an American comedian and actress who was a participant on Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012. She has also played on the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of actor and comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was born in New York City, the older of two children. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent manager as well as Chris Elliott (actor/comedian). Her father was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). Her younger sister is actress Bridey Elliott. They were both born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended Immaculate High School Danbury where she was a part of musicals and school plays. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005, she attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but was unable to attend the first year of her studies .In 2010 Elliott had a romantic relationship with another Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. They ended their relationship in September of 2011. Elliott was married to TV writer Bill Kennedy on September 3 (September 3, 2016). Edith Pepper Kennedy is their daughter. Elliott was a student at The Groundlings and eventually began learning and performing in various sketch comedy shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles.
